What is Shahniva trying to achieve?
YouTube's home feed is heavily personalised — it mostly shows more of what you already watch, and it is easy to get stuck seeing the same topics, creators, and even videos you have already seen. Shahniva is built for the opposite problem: discovery. The goal is to feel more like walking through a huge library — browsing what is trending, rising, or top-rated across the site, and opening collections that group videos around a niche or theme, without your watch history deciding everything. That means a better shot at finding new creators, new hobbies, and videos genuinely worth your time that you would not have thought to search for. Shahniva also gives newer listings and collections room to be seen early, before they are buried in an algorithmic bubble.
